- May 7: Lok Sabha General Election 2024 (Tuesday) – Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa
- May 8: Rabindranath Tagore’s Birthday (Wednesday) – Banks will remain closed in Bengal
- May 10: Basava Jayanti / Akshaya Tritiya – Banks will remain closed in Karnataka.
- May 13: Lok Sabha General Election 2024- (Tuesday) – will remain closed in Srinagar.
- May 16: State Day (Thursday) – Banks will remain closed in Sikkim.
- May 20: Lok Sabha General Election 2024- (Monday) – Banks will remain closed in Maharashtra.
- May 23: Buddha Purnima (Thursday) – Tripura, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu, Lucknow, Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Banks will remain closed in Himachal Pradesh, Srinagar.
- May 25: Nazrul Jayanti/Lok Sabha General Election 2024 (4th Saturday) – Banks will remain closed in Tripura, Orissa.
