PM Surya Ghar Yojana: Another government bank of the country, ‘Bank of Baroda’ is offering loan for PM Suryaghar Yojana.

To avail the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, many government banks of the country are offering loans at low rates. Till now we have given you information about loans from State Bank of India (SBI) and Union Bank. Now we are going to tell you that another government bank of the country ‘Bank of Baroda’ is offering loan for PM Suryaghar Yojana. The bank has said on its website that the loan under PM Suryaghar Scheme is available to those customers (individuals) who have residential property in their name. The bank says that we provide attractive interest rates with easy terms and conditions and finance up to 90 percent of the project cost.

Rate of interest

The bank is offering loan at an interest rate of 7 percent to avail the benefits of PM Suryaghar Scheme. According to the guidelines of the Government of India, a maximum subsidy of up to Rs 78,000 is available for this scheme. For this you do not have to pay any other fee. Whereas the option of floating and fixed rate of interest is available. The biggest thing is that no income document is required for unit capacity up to 3 kW.

Who can take loan

The bank has informed that resident individuals, salaried or having income from business, agriculture are eligible for PM Suryaghar Yojana – Standalone. For this, the minimum age has been kept at 21 and maximum age at 65 years. The bank has given information on its website that to take loan under PM-Surya Ghar Yojana-Composite, your credit score should not be less than 680.

what documents are required

  • KYC documents of applicant/co-applicants
  • Salary slip of last 3 months and Form No. 16/ITR (in case of salaried individuals)
  • ITR of last two years (in case of non-salaried individuals)
  • Latest Income Certificate from local competent revenue authority (for farmer)
  • Bank account statement of last 6 months
  • electricity bill

No income document is required for unit capacity up to 3 KW.

Subsidy of Rs 78000 is given for URTS-Composite and URTS- Standalone. Whereas for PM Suryaghar Scheme, subsidy of Rs 30000 is given for 1KW, Rs 60000 for 2KW and Rs 78000 for 3KW. Those eligible under the Home Loan Scheme will also be eligible under the URTS Scheme.
