New Maruti Swift 2024: The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has today launched the next generation model of its famous hatchback car Maruti Swift. The company has already started official booking of the new Swift. Interested customers can book this car through the company’s official website and dealership. The new Maruti Swift was first presented as a concept during the last Japan Mobility Show.
Swift 2024 Price
The starting price of the next generation model of Maruti Swift, equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, has been fixed at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The company is making many major changes in this hatchback car. Let’s see how the new Swift is-
Although the overall design remains the same. But it has become even sharper than before. It has been given a new bumper and a new designed radiator grill. Apart from this, the brand logo which was earlier found in the middle of the grill, has been placed on the front bonnet of the car. The new headlamps and fog-lamps also give a completely fresh look to the front of the car.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Interior
The new Swift is a little bigger. This car will be 15 mm longer and approximately 30 mm higher than the current model. However, the wheelbase remains the same at 2,450 mm. In the new Swift, the company has removed the door handle on the rear door from the C-pillar and placed it on the doors in the traditional manner. Apart from this, the newly designed alloy wheels make it more beautiful.
The interior of the car has been given a smart look. Its cabin is quite similar to the Fronx. It has been provided with free-standing infotainment system, new style center air-con vents. Apart from this, you will also get new upholstery and new designed dashboard inside the car. Some components in the cabin have been taken from Brezza and Baleno.

New Swift 2024 Mileage
The biggest change in Maruti Swift is seen in its powertrain. The company is giving a brand new 1.2 liter capacity ‘Z’ series engine in it. Which generates power of 82hp and torque of 112Nm. ‘K’ series engine is available in the current model. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift will give a mileage of 25.72 kilometers per liter. Which is about 3 km/litre more than the current model.

In the new Maruti Swift, the company is offering features like 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charger, AC vents at the rear, push button start/stop, steering mounted controls. This car has been made even safer than before. 6 airbags are being provided in all its variants. Apart from this, electronic stability control is also available.
