WhatsApp was releasing this update for beta users. If reports are to be believed, the company can roll it out in the first quarter of 2024. This means that you will not have to pay money to use WhatsApp but will have to spend money for its backup.
If your 15GB space is full, you will have to purchase additional space, which will come in the form of Google One plan. For this you will have to make monthly payment. Google One comes in three plans – Basic, Standard and Premium. In all these plans, users get storage on monthly charge.
How much does Google One plan cost?
In the basic plan, users get 100GB space for Rs 130. Whereas the standard plan comes for Rs 210, in which users get 200GB space, while the price of premium plan is Rs 600 monthly, in which 2TB data will be available. However, these days Google One is getting discount.
You can buy its basic plan at a monthly charge of Rs 35, standard plan at a monthly charge of Rs 50 and premium plan at a monthly charge of Rs 160. Discounts are also available on annual plans. In this way you can buy free space from Google and you will not have to worry about storage for WhatsApp Backup.
