TVK Founder Actor Vijay Reacts CAA: Tamil film superstar Thalapathy Vijay has opposed the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019. Vijay, who recently entered politics by forming his own party, has issued a statement in Tamil, in which he has asked the leaders not to allow this law to be implemented in Tamil Nadu.
The Narendra Modi government at the Center has implemented the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019. Since the implementation of this law, the opposition has been making many allegations against the government. Meanwhile, South superstar and President of Tamizha Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) Thalapathy Vijay has reacted on the implementation of the law.
The Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) was passed by Parliament four years ago, but it has just been implemented. With the help of this law, non-Hindu refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be able to get citizenship. However, Vijay Thalapathy is not happy with the Centre’s implementation of this law.
Thalapathy Vijay has issued a statement in Tamil language, in which he said, “At a time when all the citizens of the country are living in social harmony, a law like the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) should be implemented. Not acceptable.” In the statement, Thalapathy Vijay has appealed to the Tamil Nadu government to ensure that this law is not implemented in his state.
Let us tell you that this is the first statement of Thalapathy Vijay after the announcement of his political party. Last month, on February 2, Vijay had announced his entry into politics and also formed his new party.

Apart from this, his last film before going into politics will also be released, which is going to be a political satire. This film is currently being called Thalapathy 69. If reports are to be believed, both the names are currently being discussed as directors of this film. One is Trivikram Srinivas, the director of Mahesh Babu’s recent release Guntur Karam. The other name is H Vinoth.
