According to the guidelines issued by the traffic police, parking or stopping of vehicles on Baba Kharak Singh Marg and Outer Circle of Connaught Place will be strictly prohibited. If this rule is not followed, the vehicles will be towed and taken to the traffic pit located on Kali Bari road.
Today i.e. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Hanuman Jayanti is being celebrated across the country. On such occasions, there may be traffic problems at many places in Hanuman temple areas. In view of this, advisory has been issued for the areas around Baba Kharak Singh Marg of Delhi. Actually, Hanuman Janmotsav is being celebrated in the Hanuman temple on Baba Kharak Singh Marg. There may be an influx of 50,000 to 60,000 devotees.
Apart from this, a Shobha Yatra will also be taken out from 3 pm to 6 pm. 1,000-1,500 people, including seven chariots and band parties, will participate in the procession, due to which traffic on nearby roads may be affected.
Parking is strictly prohibited here

Shobha procession from 3 pm to 6 pm
People traveling to Baba Kharak Singh Marg or its surrounding areas have been strictly advised to avoid certain routes. These include from GPO intersection to the outer circle of Connaught Place during procession hours i.e. from 3 pm to 6 pm.
To minimize inconvenience and maintain uninterrupted movement of vehicles, the traffic police has encouraged commuters to extend their cooperation. He has advised to avoid some roads like Panchkuian Road, Mandir Marg, Kali Bari Marg, Ashok Road and Janpath. At the same time, passengers have been asked to take care of the diversion point.
