SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2024 : The registration process for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Engineer (JE) Exam 2024 has started from March 28. However, eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official website (https://ssc.gov.in/).
The recruitment drive aims to fill 968 Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) posts. Last date for submission of application is 18th April and payment of fee can be done till 19th April. The window to edit any mistakes in the application will start on April 22. This option ends on April 23. The Paper I exam is tentatively scheduled to be held between June 4 and June 6. But, Paper II exam dates are not announced yet.

Junior Engineer Exam Selection Process
The selection process for this exam consists of a computer based test covering two papers. Paper I and Paper II are both objective type, multiple choice questions only. Available in both Hindi and English. Paper-I carries negative marks of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. However, Paper-II will deduct one (1) mark for each mistake.
SSC Junior Engineer Exam Application Fee
Application Fee Rs. 100. However, women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from fee payment.
