PM Kisan Yojana: There is big news on Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Installment. Its next installment may come in May.
The government can release the 17th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Installment in May 2024. However, no official announcement has been made by the government on this yet. The government had released the previous i.e. 16th installment on 28 February 2024.
Benefit of Rs 6,000 every year
It is known that under PM Kisan Yojana (PM-KISAN scheme), all landholding farmer families are provided a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 every year, which is payable in three equal installments of Rs 2,000. PM Kisan Yojana is a central sector scheme which provides income support to the families of all the landholding farmers of the country for work related to agriculture and allied activities as well as household needs.
The amount given to the beneficiaries under the scheme is borne by the government. All landholding farmer families, who have cultivable land in their name, are eligible for benefits under the scheme. Know further how to apply online for the 17th installment
How to apply for PM Kisan 17th installment
Step 1: For this, first of all go to Farmer Corner on the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ and enter Aadhaar number and fill the captcha.
Step 3: Now enter the information and click on ‘Yes’.
Step 4: Fill the required information in the PM Kisan application form, save it and take a printout for future.

Step 1: Visit pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Select the option of ‘Beneficiary Status’ under ‘Farmers Corner’ on the main page.
Step 3: Enter the registered Aadhaar number or bank account number.
Step 4: Click on ‘Get Data’.
Step 5: Now the installment status will appear on the screen.
