PM KISAN installment: The PM Kisan scheme aimed at providing cultivation assistance to farmers across the country is continuing successfully. Under this scheme, farmers will get Rs. 6 thousand will be provided as financial assistance. Now the 17th installment of PM Kisan scheme financial assistance money will be deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) released the 16th installment of PM Kisan Scheme on 28 February 2024 to all eligible farmers. The total installment worth more than Rs.21,000 crore has been provided to 9 crore beneficiary farmers. This scheme (PM KISAN) provides support for cultivation to all farmer families in the country. Under the scheme, Rs 2,000 will be deposited into their bank accounts every four months for eligible farmers. That is, they get a total of Rs 6,000 per year.
This KYC is mandatory
According to PM Kisan website EKYC is mandatory for PM KISAN registered farmers. EKYC is available through OTP on PM Kisan portal. Or contact nearest CSC centers for Biometric BRD KYC.
PM Kisan Scheme: When is the 17th installment?
PM KISAN installment is released every four months in three installments in April-July, August-November and December-March every year. PM Kisan 16th tranche money was released in February. The 17th tranche amount is likely to be released sometime in the month of May.

- How to update PM Kisan Scheme KYC online?
- Go to PM Kisan official website https://pmkisan.gov.in/ and click on KYC option.
- Enter Aadhaar card number, captcha code and click on search.
- After that enter the mobile number linked with Aadhaar card.
- Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP in the specified field.
