The company’s plan is to set up an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Jammu and Kashmir, for which the company is going to invest Rs 1000 crore. Let us tell you that this is a Noida based company and is currently in talks with the officials of the Union Territory. For this, the company is looking for 100 acres of land in Kashmir Valley or Kathua Industrial Area. Recently the company had made another strategic announcement. Apart from this, the most important thing is that the company is going to launch India’s cheapest electric scooter very soon.

New EV plant to open in Jammu and Kashmir

Along with Make in India, we are also focusing on realizing the dream of Atma Bharat. NexGen Energia Chairman Piyush Dwivedi told PTI that we are working on setting up an EV plant in Jammu and Kashmir. For this, the company has signed an agreement with the state government, through which the company is going to invest Rs 1000 crore.

New electric scooter will be launched on April 15

He further said that this plant is going to provide employment to 1 lakh people directly and indirectly. Apart from this, the company said that the company is going to launch its affordable electric two-wheeler on April 15. Its price will start from Rs 36900 and it will start from Noida unit only.

The company had announced to install biogas

The company had recently announced the installation of a compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Gujarat. For this the company is going to invest Rs 3000 crore. Right after this announcement, the company has announced to set up an Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Kashmir.

Focus on electric bus and car also

The company’s chairman said that last week he had held a meeting with the Ministry of Roads and Highways, where the company presented proposals for sustainable energy solutions like CBG and India Made Electric Vehicles. The company has a wide range of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, which are going to be launched very soon. He further said that the company will also manufacture electric buses, trucks and cars in future.
