Also, the works which have become unnecessary are being handed over to private hands. In this episode, the railway has now decided to deploy retired railway personnel and their dependents at 18 stations for the sale of general tickets.
Mahoba News: Retired railway workers and dependents will get employment, will sell general ticketsAutomatic ticket vending machines have been installed at various categories of railway stations by the commercial department of the railway division. General tickets are sold from these machines but it is not easy for all the passengers to operate them. Therefore, the railway division has now decided to deploy retired railway personnel, their wives or children to operate these machines for ticket sales on these machines. Retirees and their dependents will get commission in lieu of selling tickets.
PRO Manoj Kumar Singh said that interested railway personnel and their dependents can put their applications in a sealed box in the office of the commercial department of the railway, Jhansi, from 10 am to 3 pm on July 8. The envelopes of the application will be opened at 3:30 pm on the day of application.
Deployment will be done at these stations
Mahoba. Seven workers will be deployed at Jhansi and Gwalior stations, five workers at Morena station, one worker each at Birlanagar, Pukhrayan, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Duriyaganj, Harpalpur and Chitrakootdham Karvi stations, two workers each at Mahoba, Lalitpur, Datia, three workers each at Khajuraho, Dabra, Banda and Orai stations.
