State-owned oil and gas companies have given people a great gift on the first day of the New Year. The state-owned oil companies have announced a reduction in LPG cylinder prices on Monday (January 1). This is the second time in a month that LPG cylinder prices have come down.
Reduced price of commercial cylinders
State-owned oil companies Indian Oil (IOC), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) have cut the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders. However, this time the reduction in the price of LPG cylinder is very modest. In various cities, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by one-and-a-half rupees since today, while there has been no change in the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder.
Latest prices in major cities
After this cut, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone up to Rs 1,755.50. Earlier it was available at Rs 1,757. In this way, the price in Delhi has decreased by one and a half rupees. The biggest reduction of Rs 4.50 was in Chennai, where a 19 kg cylinder will now cost Rs 1,924.50. In Mumbai, the price dropped by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1,708.50. At the same time, the price in Kolkata has increased by 50 paise and the latest price is Rs 1,869.
Cut for the second time in a month
Earlier on December 22 also, oil marketing companies have cut the price of commercial LPG cylinders. Then the price of a 19 kg cylinder was reduced by Rs 30.50. Before that, commercial LPG cylinders became cheaper on December 1 as well. Government oil companies review LPG cylinder prices on a fortnightly basis.
Domestic cylinder prices stable
Domestic LPG cylinder i.e. 14 kg প্ল্রির ক্র্য্র ক্র্যা ক্র্যা ক্র্যা ক্র্ত There has been no change in domestic cylinder prices for months. It was last updated on August 30. Means 4 months to 14 kg cylinder prices are stable. Currently domestic LPG cylinder is available at Rs 903 in Delhi. Its price is Rs 918.50 in Chennai, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 929 in Kolkata.
