Today’s Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has predicted heatwave in Odisha on April 15 and said that there will be hot and humid weather in many states.

Weather Update: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy snowfall and rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh during the next two days. IMD estimates that there is a possibility of isolated heavy rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on April 14. At the same time, rain is expected at different places in Himachal Pradesh.

On April 15, the Meteorological Department had predicted heatwave conditions in Odisha. Apart from this, it has been said that there is a possibility of hot and humid weather in Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Odisha.

Rain forecast

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate rain in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Central Maharashtra during April 14-15. From April 11-15, isolated light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds are likely over southern states Telangana, Kerala, Mahe, Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh-Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted isolated hailstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh and Rajasthan this week.
