Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of making India a developed country by 2047. The Prime Minister also made many big announcements under the Free Electricity Scheme and the Free Grain Scheme. Also announced regarding expanding the scope of Swanidhi Yojana (PM Swanidhi Yojana), Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Yojana and other schemes.
You will get free ration for 5 years
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that free ration will be given to poor families for the next five years. Free Ration Scheme was started in the year 2020. Under this scheme, more than 80 crore families are being given free ration. He said that we will also keep the plates of the poor safe. The PM said that if the government is formed, the scope of PM Awas Yojana will be expanded in the coming five years. More than 4 crore families have been given permanent houses.
Free treatment for all elderly people above 70 years of age!
The PM said that poor families are given free treatment worth Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. He said that its scope will be expanded in the coming times. He said that other health services will also be included under this. Also, medicines will be made available at Jan Aushadhi centers with 80 percent discount. Besides, all categories of elders above 70 years of age will also be brought under the ambit of Ayushman Yojana.
LPG from pipeline
The PM said that under the Ujjwala scheme, gas connections are being given to poor families and gas facility has reached every household. Now cheap cooking gas will be delivered to every home through pipes. Besides, 3 crore families will be given permanent houses.
Announcement of free electricity, Mudra scheme and others
The Prime Minister said that under the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, up to 300 units of free electricity will be provided through solar. Not only this, people can also earn thousands of rupees annually by generating electricity through solar. He said that the limit of Mudra Yojana has been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Apart from this, the scope under PM Swanidhi Yojana will be expanded to reach villages also.
