RBI Rules

As per Reserve Bank guidelines, banks do not open on Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays of the month. According to the Negotiable Instruments Act, RBI has declared holidays for banks on April 1, 5, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 20. In addition to these four Sundays next month on April 7, 4, 21, 28; Also, banks will not open on the second and fourth Saturdays of April 13 and 27. However, online transactions, ATMs and net banking services will function even during these holidays.
