Weather Update: ”From 15.04.2024 to 19.04.2024: Maximum temperature may increase gradually by 2°-3° Celsius in Tamil Nadu during next five days”
The Chennai Zonal Meteorological Center has said that there is a chance of thundershowers at one or two places in South Tamil Nadu, North Tamil Nadu, Western Ghats and Delta districts.
In a press release issued in this regard, an atmospheric downward circulation is prevailing over the Gulf of Mannar regions.
15.04.2024: South Tamil Nadu, North Tamil Nadu Western Ghats and Delta districts may experience light to moderate rain at a few places and Karaikal. Dry weather is likely to prevail in other districts and Puduvai.
16.04.2024: Light to moderate rain may occur at a couple of places over South Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal. North Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal are likely to experience dry weather.
17.04.2024 Light to moderate rain likely over Western Ghats districts. Other districts, Puduwai and Karaikal are likely to witness dry weather.
18.04.2024 and 19.04.2024: Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a couple of places over Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal.
20.04.2024 and 21.04.2024: Light to moderate rain may occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puduvai and Karaikal.

15.04.2024 to 19.04.2024: The maximum temperature may increase gradually by 2°-3° Celsius over Tamil Nadu during the next five days.
From 15.04.2024 to 16.04.2024: Maximum temperature may be 2°-3° Celsius above normal at a few places in North Tamil Nadu.
The maximum temperature is likely to be 37°-40° Celsius at most places in the plains of North Tamil Nadu interior districts, 34°-38° Celsius at most places in coastal areas of North Tamil Nadu, South Tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal.
17.04.2024 to 19.04.2024: Maximum temperature may be 2°-4° Celsius above normal at a few places in interior districts of Tamil Nadu.
The maximum temperature is likely to be 38°-41° Celsius at many places in the plains of the interior districts of Tamil Nadu.

From 15.04.2024 to 19.04.2024 humidity is likely to be 30-50% during afternoons in plain areas of interior districts of Tamil Nadu, 40-70% at other times and 50-80% in coastal areas.
