Information given by the CEO of the company

Earlier this week, the company canceled a large number of flights due to the ill health of several pilots. On Friday, Vistara Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vinod Kannan said the Tata Group airline is working on a merger with Air India and in an effort to provide uninterrupted flight services, flight services have been temporarily reduced to ensure adequate availability of pilots. The company is hopeful that the situation will improve by May.

Vistara to merge with Air India

Vistara Airlines is a Tata Group company. It is in the process of merging with Air India, another airline of the Tata Group. In such a situation, it is believed that this is also a major reason behind the cancellation of many flights of Vistara Airlines. It is noteworthy that Vistara introduced additional flights including domestic and international flights in March while operating an average of 49 international and 273 domestic flights in February.
