Download UTS application from Google Play Store. Before logging in, create an account and log in.
In the home screen of the application, you can see many options like QR booking, quick booking, platform ticket, general booking.
After selecting ‘General Booking’ tab, there will be two options including ‘Book & Travel’ (पेयपर) and ‘Book & Print’ (पेपर). ‘Paper’ means paying for the ticket online, the original ticket must be printed out and obtained from the special UTS kiosk or booking counter at the railway stations. Paperless ticket means tickets can be purchased completely online without the need to carry hard copies.
But before starting this app, you can book paperless ticket by first switching on GPS on mobile device. However, paper ticket does not require GPS.
- Select ‘Departed From’ station name, ‘Go to’ station name.
- Click on ‘Get Fair’ to be redirected to the payment page.
- After selecting the required mode, you can make payment for the ticket using Debit Card/UPI/Internet Banking/Credit Card with two basic options namely Wallet and Online Payment.
- Select the payment type you want to purchase, the ticket class, and click on Book Ticket.
- You can book the ticket after successful payment.
