WagonR has continued to be the best-selling model in the passenger vehicle segment for the past few months by registering monthly sales of 19,412 units in February 2024. During the same month last year, Maruti had sold 16,889 units of the WagonR, registering a growth of 15 percent year-on-year. The WagonR has been a consistent seller for Maruti Suzuki since its introduction in the late 20th century. The WagonR is priced between Rs 5.55 lakh and Rs 7.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Punch
Tata Motors has sold 18,438 units of Punch across the country in February this year. The micro SUV registered a massive YoY growth of 65% and a modest MoM growth of 2.55%. This significant year-on-year growth in Punch sales is attributed to the all-electric Punch.EV launched earlier this year.
Maruti Baleno
Maruti Baleno has secured the third position in this list with total monthly sales of 17,517 units in February this year. During the same month last year, Maruti had sold 18,592 units of the premium hatchback, resulting in a decline of 6% last month. A month-on-month decline of -10.76% was recorded. Baleno is priced between Rs 6.66 lakh and Rs 9.38 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Maruti Dzire
With total sales of 15,837 units in February this year, Maruti Dezire has occupied the fourth position in this list. This resulted in a decline of 6% YoY and MoM. Both the DZire and its hatchback sibling Swift are expected to get massive upgrades in the coming months. Currently, the Dezire is priced between Rs 6.56 lakh and Rs 9.39 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Maruti Brezza
In February this year, Brezza has occupied the fifth position by registering total sales of 15,765 units. Subcompact SUV sales remained steady year over year and month over month. It is available in petrol as well as CNG drivetrain. Currently, the Brezza can be had for a price ranging between Rs 8.34 lakh to Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).
