Team India, ICC World Cup 2023: The bugle of the ODI World Cup 2023 to be hosted by India is going to sound soon. The tournament will start from October 5. But before that, all the 10 teams also have to play 2-2 practice matches. All 10 countries had already announced their squads for the tournament.

But the last date for changes in this squad was kept as 28th September. In such a situation, the Indian team has made a major change in its squad on this day and declared the final team. Star all-rounder Akshar Patel, who is suffering from injury, has been ruled out.

In his place, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been included in the team. Recently, Ashwin was also given a chance in the ODI series against Australia, where he performed strongly. Whereas Akshar could not be fit even till the third and last ODI of the series.

The Indian team has to play 2 practice matches before the World Cup. The team has to play its first practice match against England on 30 September in Guwahati. For this, the entire team including Ashwin has reached Guwahati.

Let us tell you that before the World Cup, all the warm-up matches will be played in three venues, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad. The Indian team will play its second practice match against Netherlands on October 3. This match will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

All these practice matches will be played from 2 pm, while all 15 players of the team will be allowed to participate in it. World Cup 2023 is to start in India from October 5. In which the great match between India and Pakistan will be played on 14 October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Whereas the final match will be played on 19th November. Team India would like to capture the title once again in the World Cup 2023 to be held at home.

10 venues, 48 matches and 45 days

This time 48 matches will be played within 45 days for the World Cup 2023. 10 venues have been earmarked for this. The Indian team will play its first match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.

The first semi-final will be played in Mumbai on 15 November and the second in Kolkata the next day. There will be a reserve day in both the semi-finals. The final match will be held in Ahmedabad on 19th November, while 20th November will be the reserve day. All three knockout matches will be day-night matches.
