Tata’s Punch EV: Tata has announced a discount on its Punch EV for the first time. Customers are being given discounts and offers up to Rs 50 thousand on Punch EV. Tata launched Punch EV in January 2024. However, the company has also informed that this discount is being given only on the top variant Empowered +S LR AC Fast Charger of Punch EV.
According to an Autocar report, ahead of the launch of the Punch EV on January 17, Tata dealerships across the country have reportedly received a large number of units of the Empowered +S LR AC variant. This unit came with fast 7.2 KW AC. Now the company is offering benefits on dealership insurance and extra dealer discounts to transfer these inventories. Along with this, a flat discount of Rs 20,000 is also being given on the basis of unsold inventory. The company will give customers a discount of up to Rs 50 thousand on Punch EV.
Price reduced to Rs 15 lakh
According to the report of Autocar, almost every Tata showroom has about five to 10 units of Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC fast charger. It is believed that those units will be sold with this discount. With this discount, the ex-showroom prices of the top-spec model of Punch EV may reduce from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. Even at this price, the top-spec Citroen eC3 Shine Dual Tone Vibe will prove to be Rs 1.5 lakh more affordable. The ex-showroom price of Citroen eC3 is Rs 13.49 lakh.
As its name suggests, the Punch EV Empowered +S LR AC Fast Charger variant has an ARAI-rated range of 421 km. This variant comes with a large 35 kWh battery. Which offers a more powerful 122 HP motor and premium features like electronic parking brake, hill-descent control, A. The company has given it features like sunroof, ambient lighting, leather seats, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, infotainment and driver display with 10.25-inch screen.
