Tata Ace EV 1000 cargo: Tata is launching electric cargo vehicles in the market.. Recently Tata has brought Ace EV 1000 in the market. Tata Motors says this cargo vehicle, which is highly suitable for intra-city deliveries, will travel 161 km on a single charge.
Tata Ace EV 1000 cargo: Tata Motors has launched the new Ace EV 1000 e-cargo vehicle in the market. It brings electric mobility solutions to last mile delivery. The new Tata Ace EV 1000 comes with a one tonne payload. It offers a range of 161 kilometers (certified) on a single charge. Tata Motors says that the new zero-emission Ace electric vehicle has been developed taking into account feedback from its customers and the new version will cater to the needs of the FMCG, Beverages, Paint and Lubricants, LPG and Dairy sectors.
Battery Management System
The new Tata Ace EV has features like battery management system, fleet edge telematics system. These are jointly developed by Tata group companies. The new electric cargo model will be available through the company’s commercial vehicle dealerships across the country. Service support is available through over 150 electric vehicle support centers. Vinay Pathak, Vice President & Business Head, Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors, said that the Tata Ace 1000 Cargo EV can fully meet the cargo needs of customers.
Seven-year battery warranty
The Tata Ace EV 1000 Cargo EV comes with a seven-year battery warranty and a five-year comprehensive maintenance package. The Tata company says it is suitable for all weather conditions with features like advanced battery cooling system, regenerative braking. Its electric motor produces 27kW (36.2bhp) and 130Nm of peak torque. The new Tata Ace EV has 1000 fast charging capability. Currently in the electric cargo vehicle segment, Piaggio, Bajaj, Euler, Altgreen and other brands of electric cargo vehicles are available in the market.
