CM Ashok Gehlot had announced to give free smart phones last year. Now after waiting for one and a half years, this scheme of the government is being implemented. A total of 1 crore 40 thousand women of the state will be given mobiles, but in the first phase only 40 thousand women will get free smart phones.
Different phases have been made in this too. In the first phase, single women / widowed women of Chiranjeevi families, girl students studying in class 9-12 of government schools, girl students studying in government ITIs and polytechnics as well as Sanskrit colleges and women heads of families who have completed 100 working days in MNREGA And smart phones will be given to women heads of families who complete 50 working days in the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Scheme.

Eligible women coming to the camp will have to bring Aadhar card, Janadhar card, PAN card and mobile number registered in them along with them. Girl students studying in higher educational institutions will have to bring the I-card with them. Information related to smartphone distribution under the scheme can be obtained on the public information portal and toll free number 181. Also, eligibility can be checked on the public information portal and E-Mitra Plus machine.
Will have to go through these procedures to get a smart phone
- First of all, e-KYC of eligible women will be done on IGSY portal in the camp. After KYC is done, Janadhar e-wallet will be installed on his mobile phone.
- The details of the eligible woman will be verified by entering her Janadhar number on the portal.
- After this, after entering the details of the beneficiary’s PAN card on the IGSY portal, three types of forms will be printed and given to him.
- Taking these forms, the beneficiary will go to the counter of the mobile service provider company and choose the SIM and data plan. After this, going to the counter of the mobile company, he will choose the mobile phone according to his wish.
- After this, the last counter will have to go to the counter with the filled form. The documents filled there will be scanned, entered and uploaded on the IGSY portal.
- As soon as this process is completed, 6800 rupees will be transferred to the e-wallet of the beneficiary. With which he will buy mobile phone and sim card.
