Crores of farmers across the country are waiting for the 15th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. According to recent reports, the next installment will be released in the last week of November. Earlier the 14th installment was released in July this year. The Prime Minister launched ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’ on Thursday. This scheme will benefit farmers by giving an additional amount of Rs 6000 per year to more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra.

Beneficiaries can do eKYC from PM-Kisan portal through OTP received on the mobile number linked to their Aadhaar. You can verify eKYC yourself by downloading the PMKISAN GOI app from Google Play Store and linking your Aadhaar mobile number through Face Authenticator. The last date for eKYC is till 31 October 2023.
According to PM Kisan website, eKYC is mandatory for PM Kisan registered farmers. OTP based eKYC is available on PMKisan portal or nearest CSC centers can be contacted for biometric based eKYC. The government had introduced the face authentication feature in June. Thus, farmers can now easily complete e-KYC from home using this app by scanning their face instead of their fingerprint or OTP.
How to do OTP based PM Kisan KYC?
- Go to the official PM Kisan website.
- Search for ‘e-KYC’ option under ‘Farmers Corner’.
- On the next page, provide your Aadhaar number.
- You will receive a four digit OTP on your registered mobile number.
How can farmers check beneficiary list?
- Go to PM Kisan website.
- Click on beneficiary list.
- Enter details like state, district, sub-district, block and village and click on get report.

How to register on PM Kisan Yojana?
- Visit pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on the option of Farmers Corner.
- Click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ option.
- Select Rural Farmer Registration or Urban Farmer Registration.
- Enter Aadhaar number, mobile number, select state and click on ‘Get OTP’.
- Fill the OTP and proceed for registration.
- Also enter state, district, bank details and personal details. It is important that your complete details are as per Aadhaar card. Enter your details as per Aadhaar.
- Click on ‘Submit for Aadhaar Authentication’.
- Once your Aadhaar authentication is done, fill your land details. Upload supporting documents and click on save.
- You will get a confirmation or rejection message on the screen.
