Why did the flights have to be canceled?

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has canceled 48 flights due to fuel shortage. Circumstances arising from failure to pay dues

Due to not being able to pay the dues, Pakistan Airlines (PIA) is already facing operational problems and huge losses. Now the fuel shortage has reached its peak and this is the main reason why airlines have to cancel a large number of their flights and the flights which are present at different locations are also getting delayed. About 12 flights of PIA are running late.

Pakistan State Oil stopped fuel supply

According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the domestic flight operations of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have been badly affected. This crisis was also seen on Monday, the first day of the week. The report quoted official sources as saying that Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has stopped fuel supply to the national airline over the issue of non-payment of dues.

Air passengers are facing problems

Due to continuous cancellation and delay of flights by PIA, a large number of air passengers are facing problems for the last several days. Due to delay in flights, not only the passengers but also the flight crew are facing inconvenience.
