OnePlus Open Launch: OnePlus is ready to launch its first foldable smartphone. The company will unveil the new OnePlus Open smartphone in India today (October 19) at an event to be held in Mumbai. The launch event of OnePlus Open will start at 7.30 pm and it can be watched live on the company’s official YouTube channel.
There will be a keynote in the ‘Open for Everything event’ in which different features and specifications of the product will be explained. According to OnePlus, the company’s first foldable phone challenges conventional features and will provide the best user experience.
Talking about the leaks so far, OnePlus Open has been revealed to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The phone has up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB inbuilt storage. Apart from this, the company claims that OnePlus Open will provide ‘faster and smoother experience’ than any OnePlus device.
Let us tell you that OnePlus has already confirmed that the new open smartphone has a new hinge system which is made of only 69 components and premium material. The company has also confirmed that the device will feature OnePlus’ iconic alert slider. OnePlus has also informed about getting optimized versions of third-party apps like Facebook in the handset. The smartphone is expected to be launched in two color options.
