Lakhs of government employees from more than 20 states have gathered at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Sunday (October 1) demanding OPS (Old Pension Scheme). At present, the old pension scheme is applicable in 5 states of the country which include Congress ruled Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Himachal and Grand Alliance government Jharkhand. OPS is also implemented in Punjab in 2022. Congress party is also demanding to bring it back. In this series, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda has given his support to this movement of employees.

MP Deependra Singh Hooda said that he fully supports this movement of the employees. He said that OPS is the right of the employees, the demands of the employees are legitimate, and the government should implement it.
