Kia Seltos: CVT gearbox for petrol engine and torque converter automatic gearbox for diesel engine were till now available in HTX trim. But these two new variants of Kia have been launched at a more affordable price.
South Korea’s multinational automobile manufacturing company Kia is rapidly expanding its portfolio in India. In this series, the company has now launched two new automatic variants of its famous SUV Kia Seltos. This includes Seltos HTK+ petrol-CVT and Seltos HTK+ diesel-AT variants.
The auto gearbox in both these variants has become much better than before. The company has introduced Seltos HTK+ Petrol-CVT at a price of Rs 15.40 lakh and Seltos HTK+ Diesel-AT at a price of Rs 16.90 lakh. Along with this, the company has also updated features in other trims of the SUV.
What will be the price of the automatic?

But these two new variants of Kia have been launched at a more affordable price. CVT gearbox with new HTK+ trim will now be available cheaper by Rs 1.18 lakh. Whereas the starting price of Diesel-AT trims is Rs 1.28 higher.
Kia has also introduced some new features in the HTK+ trim. The company claims that this is the most famous trim of Seltos. Features like panoramic sunroof, drive and traction mode, paddle shifters, LED connected tail lamp, LED front map lamp and interior LED reading lamp have been provided in these. It also gets a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel and a new exterior paint option, Aurora Black Pearl.
Equipped with which new features?
Kia has also updated other trims of the model with new features. The top-end HTX, HTX+, GT Line and X Line trims now get auto up/down function for all four windows. Meanwhile, the lower-spec HTK trim now gets LED DRLs, keyless entry, push button start and LED connected tail lamps. While the base HTE trim now gets five additional exterior color options.
This includes Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Pewter Olive and Imperial Blue. Ex-showroom prices of Kia Seltos now range between Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.35 lakh. Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara and Skoda Kushaq are its biggest rivals.
