ntelligence Bureau Recruitment 2023: Recruitment has been done for 677 posts of Security Assistant/Motor Transport and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Among the vacant posts, 362 vacancies are for Security Assistant-Motor Transport and 315 vacancies are for MTS. According to the report of Times of India, the process of online application for this recruitment will start on mha.gov.in from 14 October 2023 and will continue till 13 November. The application fee is Rs 500 for General, OBC, EWS categories and Rs 50 for SC/ST, Divyang and women candidates.
According to media reports, the detailed notification of this recruitment will be published in Employment News on 14th October. The age limit for Security Assistant is 18-27 years while for MTS is 18 to 25 years. SC and ST will get relaxation of five years in the upper age limit and OBC will get three years relaxation.
Qualification for both the posts
Educational Qualification: 10th pass from recognized board and knowledge of any of the local languages. If applying for SA MT posts then must also have LMV vehicle driving license. One year motor car driving experience is also required.
Selection
- Tier-1 exam
SA, MT, MTS – Objective type exam, 100 questions will come. Questions will be from General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, English. Fourteen marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Tier-2 Exam
SA, MT – Motor Mechanism, Driving cum Interview.
MTS – English Language Descriptive Test. Comprehension. Tier-1 will be qualifying only.
- Merit list for SA, MT will be made on the basis of performance in Tier-1 and Tier-2.
- Merit list for MTS will be made on the basis of performance in Tier-1.
Candidates will be able to apply online through the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, mha.gov.in or NCS portal ncs.gov.in.
