Telangana Assembly Election: Addressing an election rally in Mahabubnagar, Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the setting up of a Central Tribal University in Mulugu. He said that it will be named after the respected tribal woman Sammakka-Sarakka and Rs 900 crore will be spent on this university. On hearing this, the people present there started clapping.

The PM claimed that in recent years the people of Telangana have strengthened the BJP in the Lok Sabha, Assembly and civic elections. He said, “From the crowd seen here today, I am confident that the people of Telangana have made up their mind for change.”
Did many things for women- PM Modi
Regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill, PM Modi said that the land of Telangana is the land of heroines. Nari Shakti Vandan Act has been passed in the country. Now women will have more voice than before. Telangana has strengthened Modi and Modi has empowered the women of the country including Telangana. The sisters of Telangana know that they have a brother in Delhi, who is working hard to improve their lives. The PM Awas Yojana should provide houses to the poor and provide free gas connections. We have done a lot of work to make the work of women easier.

Taking a dig at the state government, the Prime Minister said, “Telangana wants change because people need a transparent and honest government instead of a corrupt government in the state. He said that the state government is earning money through the schemes made for farmers. Corruption has taken place in Telangana in the name of irrigation project. Foundation stone laid for projects worth Rs 13,500 crore
Earlier, on Sunday (October 1), PM Modi laid the foundation stone of developmental projects worth more than Rs 13,500 crore through video conferencing. Apart from this, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of major road projects. Not only this, he also inaugurated five new buildings for Hyderabad University.
