How to link EPF UAN with mobile number
Step 1 – First of all go to EPFO India website https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php and click on ‘For Employees’.
Step 2 – After this click on Member UAN Online Service.
Step 3 – Login using your UAN and password.
Step 4 – Click on ‘Contact details’ in Manage.
Step 5 – Click on Verify and change the mobile number.
Step 6 – Type the mobile number linked to Aadhaar and click on Get OTP and submit.
If you do not have your previous number then you will have to register the mobile number with Aadhaar. After this, click on Forgot Password on the login page. Enter UAN and captcha code and provide information like name, date of birth etc. Enter the captcha code and mobile number linked to Aadhaar and click on OTP.

UAN active members can know their new PF contribution and EPFO PF balance by sending an SMS to 7738299899 from their registered mobile number. You have to write EPFOHO UAN and send it to 7738299899. SMS has to be sent only from the mobile number registered on UAN. EPFO sends the message of EPFO balance and contribution every month only to the mobile number with KYC updated.
