There is good news for the employees. Their dearness allowance has been increased. Orders have been issued for this. The increase in dearness allowance will be effective from October 1. With this, their salary will increase to more than Rs 29700.
DA Hike, Employees, Employees VDA Hike: A big gift has been given to the employees by the Central Government. Their dearness allowance has been increased. For which order has been issued by the Ministry. The revised rate of dearness allowance will be effective from October 1. Along with this, employees will get the benefit of increased salary along with dearness allowance.
The average consumer price index for industrial workers projected by the Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Central Government has increased from 378 to 385.97 assuming June 30, 2023 (base 2016). After which the rates of variable dearness allowance of employees have been revised. Their variable dearness allowance has been increased by 7.39 points.
DA rates revised for ‘unarmed’ employees
After revising the rates, Variable Dearness Allowance for A category has been fixed at Rs 278 while VDA for B category has been fixed at Rs 253. Dearness allowance for C category has been fixed at Rs 215.
Dearness allowances and salaries will be as follows:-
After which salaries have been fixed along with flat rate and variable dearness allowance for the employees working without weapons in Watch and Ward from October 1, 2023.
Their dearness allowances and salaries will be as follows:
For A category employees, the basic salary has been fixed at Rs 637 + Rs 278 with variable dearness allowance and their total salary has been fixed at Rs 915 per day.
For B category employees, the basic salary has been fixed at Rs 579 + Rs 253 along with variable dearness allowance and their total salary has been fixed at Rs 832 per day.
For C category employees, the basic salary has been fixed at Rs 494 + Rs 215 along with variable dearness allowance and their total salary has been fixed at Rs 709 per day.
DA rates of ‘armed’ employees revised
Under this, the rates of dearness allowance for employees working in watch and ward with weapons have been revised from October 1, 2023.
After revising the rates, Variable Dearness Allowance for A category has been fixed at Rs 299 while for B category VDA has been fixed at Rs 278. Dearness allowance for C category has been fixed at Rs 253.

For A category employees, the basic salary has been fixed at Rs 693 + Rs 299 with variable dearness allowance and their total salary has been fixed at Rs 992 per day.
For B category employees, the basic salary has been fixed at Rs 637 + Rs 278 with variable dearness allowance and their total salary has been fixed at Rs 915 per day.
For C category employees, the basic salary has been fixed at Rs 579 + Rs 253 plus variable dearness allowance and their total salary has been fixed at Rs 892 per day.
With the increase in dearness allowance, there will be a big increase in the salaries of the employees. Along with this, he will be paid Rs 29760 as monthly salary.
