Sales increased by 25 percent
According to the report, iPhone sales in Flipkart Big Billion Days and Amazon Great Indian Festival sale have increased by 25 percent year-on-year. That means this time there has been 25 percent more sales compared to last year. This time bumper demand has been seen for iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and iPhone 12.
Apart from iPhone, the sale of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has also been good. This model was out of stock within two days in Flipkart Sale. There has been a year-on-year increase of 50 percent in the sales of premium smartphones in Flipkart Sale. Whereas on Amazon this increase is 200 percent. This is because of iPhone 13 and Galaxy S23 FE.
These are the top selling phones
Apart from this, 80 percent of the phones sold on both the e-commerce platforms have been 5G. In the budget of 10 thousand to 15 thousand rupees, the sale of 5G smartphones has been seen quite high. Realme Narzo 60x 5G, Galaxy M14 5G and M34 5G have been the top selling phones on Amazon. Whereas Vivo T2x has been the top selling phone on Flipkart.
Counterpoint has said in its report that online channels have experienced slow demand throughout the year. Bumper demand has been seen in the sale. This was the biggest sale of the year on both Flipkart and Amazon platforms. Like every year, this time too we have seen bumper demand.
