The Central Government has announced Diwali bonus for Group-B non-gazetted officers and Group-C employees for the year 2022-23. Para-military force personnel will also be included in this decision of the Central Government, who will be given a maximum Diwali bonus of up to Rs 7,000.
How much bonus will you get?
According to news agency PTI, Diwali bonus for central government employees 2023, The central government on Tuesday announced Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (Diwali Bonus 2023) for non-gazetted Group B and Group C employees. In this, an amount equal to one month’s salary is given as bonus to non-gazetted employees of Group B and C.
Who will come under the scope?
According to the report, the benefit of this bonus (Diwali Bonus 2023) will be available to those central government employees who have given continuous duty for at least 6 months during the year 2022-23. Also, they should have been in service till 31 March 2023. This bonus will also be given by the government to temporary employees appointed on adhoc basis. The only condition is that there should not be any break in their service.
They will also get benefit
According to the notification issued by the Central Government, the employees of central paramilitary forces will also get the benefit of Adhoc Bonus. They will be given Diwali bonus up to a maximum of Rs 7 thousand.
This is how the bonus is decided
A special formula is adopted to decide the non-productivity linked bonus (Diwali Bonus 2023) of the employees. In this, bonus is added based on the average salary of the employees. For example, if you are getting a salary of around Rs 20 thousand in a government job, then you can get a bonus of around Rs 19 thousand.
