HDFC Bank News: The bank has sent an important information related to payment to crores of customers. The bank has given information about this due to the end of the financial year.
HDFC Bank has issued an alert for crores of its customers. This largest private sector bank has told its customers that on April 1, 2024 (Monday), they are prohibited from transferring funds through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). The bank says that due to the end of the financial year, there may be a delay in fund transfer through NEFT. HDFC Bank said that even if NEFT facility is available for some selected customers, there may still be a delay in fund transfer. In such a situation, they should avoid fund transfer through NEFT on Monday.
HDFC Bank also said that if a customer receives salary or other payment through NEFT on this day, there may be a delay in it. However, HDFC Bank customers will not face any problem in making any kind of payment through IMPS, RTGS and UPI on April 1, 2024.
What information has HDFC Bank given?
A mail sent by HDFC Bank to customers reads, “Please note that NEFT transactions will not be available or will be delayed on April 1, 2024. This will happen due to the end of the financial year. We request that Make payment on this day through IMPS, RTGS or UPI. We are sorry for your inconvenience.
The bank has also said that customers can contact HDFC Bank customer support team for any help related to this payment. HDFC Bank customer support is available on 18001600 /1800 2600.
